Am I the only one here that thinks that Tom should just demod every last moderator in this shit hole of a forum?

Pay attention to the Zen444 saga. Apparently, it's perfectly fucking fine for new users to be stupid and harass other users, but if an established user decides to go after them, OH FUCKING NO, we get banned for that shit.

Right now, a lot of mods just have been setting piss poor examples of what a BBS user should be. Case in point:

Valz being sexually harassed by one of the moderators who is supposed to be a good example of these forums.
And this little saga continued.
And again.
AND AGAIN.

The death of the BBS is not coming from the idiot users who post stupid shit, it's coming from the moderators with ego problems that have really screwed up views on right and wrong.

You all fucking suck.

It's been five long years since I've started visiting this website. And it's been 3 years since I've started posting on the forums. In those three years, I've watched the BBS degrade more and more over time. But back in those days, idiots were remanded with hostility and they learned their place. I see a lot of 07 and 08 users that now post like mature regulars. And now with the 09 users, we are not allowed to do that to them, all because the hypocritical mods think it's trolling to put the new kids in place.

From this point onward, I'll just relegate myself back to what I originally came for this website for, just flash animations. I'll continue to support the website, I may continue to post the random images that people come here for, but for now, I guess this means goodbye.

Short edit, I have no real plans on returning to the BBS. I've found home with Geek Squad's forums, and currently settling into The Escapist forums.

I don't usually have anything really interesting to talk about working at Geek Squad, but here is one:

This man brought in a computer for a diagnostic a couple of days ago. About $4000-$5000, this clueless man had display issues, and a failed HDD in a RAID 1+0 config. One of my co-workers/friend told me that his mom paid for it, and the man was about 20. That prompted me to look through his downloads folder and pictures folder, and I found straight-up porn. Both of us started laughing, which attracted the attention of another one of my co-workers. He did a search for .jpgs, and we found so much porn on the computer. He even said that it wasn't even the good shit.

That made my day. I couldn't stop laughing.

Oh, and just to note, it was all hentai, asian porn (ME ROVE YOU RONG TIME,) and choreographed shit.

So I finally got around to buying it a while ago, due to my hate for Oblivion being what stopped me, and you know what?

I like it.

Yeah, finally got the last Touhou folder off of my old Dell, now I just need to sort through and delete anything unrelated.

My gaming tower is now working again.

Assuming people actually pay attention to what I actually post here, I have made a couple of (rather vague) references to a gaming tower that I own, and how it was recently brought to it's knees.

So what's the dealio? Simply put, it's a $2000 rig, paid for by my parents (since they were nice to me,) took around three hours to put together (first build, ran into a couple of problems involving the heatsink not fitting properly in certain positions,) plays Crisys on high on DX10 mode, Windows Vista Ultimate.

Parts used:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz
Samsung 1TB HDD (going to swap this out with a Western Digital or a Seagate)
Dual EVGA 9800 GX2 cards
8GB (!) of RAM (thanks 64-bit CPU and OS)
And the ever nice DVD-DL RW drive.

So, what happened to it? It stopped working when I was browsing the internet. Every time I tried troubleshooting it, I had the exact same not-powering-on issue. I originally thought it was the Motherboard, which I thought I fried during overclocking. I did use a test power supply, and it returned the exact same results with it not powering on. Weeks later, replacement board, and still the exact same issue. Tested the power supply I had, and turns out that it was the faulty part.

My guess was that it was related to how it made an odd sound every time I powered it on, which probably explained the smell that came out of it when I tested it (so something blew inside there.)

Likewise, a recently taken image of my rig, no power supply inside, all in it's reconstructed glory (though it doesn't have power.)

Oh, and after this point, this completely breaks the chain of pointless Touhou dump posts of mine.
