I had my final interview today, and now the manager just left the position just up in the air. I am supposed to be called if I get the job, which I am going to bet that I didn't get the job, and I should try to find another.

In other news, my job interview went well for the first part. I will have the final interview on tuesday.

My 11th year of school has ended for me last friday. Overall, this year brought some good things out of it, one of them being that I am now A+ certified. Since I now have a lot more free time available, I'm now applying for jobs, one of them being for Circuit City's firedog service. I'm not sure if it will go through, but I hope it does.

FUCK YOU REIMU, AND YOUR PROGRESS HINDERING FIRST SPELL CARD.

Just recently, Touhou Chireiden, otherwise known as Subterranean Animism, has been released at Resaitai 5, in a demo form. Don't get me wrong, since I like the Touhou series (even though it might not be the best bullet hell game, and also features poorly drawn girls in silly outfits,) I was pretty excited to hear about this game coming out. While Mountain of Faith took a faster route, which I both praise and shun it for, Subterranean Animism went a little bit too far in terms of the difficulty curve. Because this game is now fast paced, that means bullets go considerably faster than they did in previous Touhou games, making both dodging bullets and destroying enemies a very hard task. Combine that with extremely unbalanced enemy health, you all of a sudden begin to feel like that you are no longer good at Touhou. The enemies are extremely durable, making waves of enemies a lot harder to destroy, which when combined with their speed, the game is all of a sudden having problems in the fun department.

Gameplay itself has returned to the Human/Youkai team system implemented in Imperishable Night, but the only playable characters are Reimu and Marisa. Each character has their own traits, which combined with a different youkai partner, adds to different abilies. Too bad the only characters that have artwork only appear to be Reimu and Marisa at the moment (but yet, this is a good thing, since I don't want to see ZUN butcher the artwork of one of my personal favorite characters, Alice.)

Speaking of the artwork, assuming that you have played Mountain of Faith, and are aware of the memes of the Touhou community, Reimu looked like a zombie-ish shrine maiden. For Subterranean Animism, the artwork took a massive nose dive, and now the characters look like fucking dolls. Their arms and legs are stubby, and lack knees and elbows. On a good side, at least Reimu and Marisa have had *some* pigmentation returned to them, but overall, Marisa ended up looking better than Reimu.

The music is still up to my expectations, with it's well composed pieces (except the title.)

But why am I nit-picking? This is only a trial, and hopefully this game will be fixed when the full version comes out.

Be aware that I will cover Scarlet Weather Rhapshody a bit later, once I learn the mechanics of the game and once I know what those moon runes are trying to tell me.

Never really liked it. It takes too long to write a message, which can be read in two seconds, and costs $0.10/message (which is the rough equivalent of a minute of a phone call.) I never really understood how people defend this "feature" by saying that it's:

Easy
Time Saving
Convienient

The thing is, I never did this in the past, but certain circumstances (which I won't get into detail, yet,) is having me reply to text messages with messages of my own.

Just to throw this out there:
I will be buying the new Halo 3 maps, and there is a possibility of me buying GTA IV. I still say you should buy Ikaruga. I really need someone to play with me (preferably someone who does not suck.)

And now for an irrelevant picture:

So, I recently purchased Ikaruga off of Xbox Live Arcade, and it's worth the 800 Microsoft Points. It's the most hardcore shump that you will ever play.

Think that it's going to be easy because you can switch polarities? Think again. While you do have a small hit box, one little mishap with the wrong color, you will die within a matter of seconds. It's fun, challenging, and you can share replays with your friends (I think,) like you can with Touhou, provided you did not turn continues on.

The achievements are not much of an easy task. While defeating bosses gets you achievements, the rest require you to get a rank of "A," which is not easy, and another requires you to absorb bullets without firing one shot (on a certain mission, it says.)

So, yeah, you should buy it if you are into shumps.
